This craft, when launched, was the largest composite hovercraft to be built.

WMT personnel were responsible for the design and subsequent project management of construction and trials.

The craft, after proving trials, became the first hovercraft to successfully circumnavigate the Baltic.

Following this the craft was converted for operation as a hydrographic survey craft for use in Belgium.
