This fireboat was based on the successful HM218 series and broke new ground as a fast response vessel.

WMT key members were responsible for the detailed engineering design of a complex fire system which could pump the equivalent of the craft's weight in one minute.

A further version has recently been delivered by Textron Marine to the New York fire department.
